Band History

Soul Shredder was the brainchild of Stu Gibson (lead guitar) and was first formed as a jamming band back in 2003.

It wasn't long until Tom Collinson came along on guitar and brought in friend and former bandmate, Ed Scrimshaw. An audition later and the band had acquired some classic rock inspired low-end. After a couple failed attempts, the band came across Gaz Oldale who filled the drum stool. The lead vocal spot was eventually filled by Cookie after a couple Brandy-Fuelled rehearsals, bringing Power Metal melody to the songs that had been written.

Early 2011 saw Shredder hit the studio, and an EP recorded. Unfortunately Gaz decided that it wasnt for him, and left, leaving the band currently without a stick man.

Soul Shredder are Cookie, Stu, Tom, and Ed, and they're looking forward to meeting you out there on the road, whoever you are, and wherever there may be...

Metal forever!
